Project to re-envision the interior layout, furniture and fixtures in a retail shop devoted to Skateboarding and Roller Derby. The shotgun layout of the store, located on Madison's State Street, features an extensive supply of decks, shoes, skates, gear, accessories and clothing which the owner wishes to reorganize. Our proposal entails addressing the issues as compartmentalized pieces that can be undertaken and fabricated in any order and when the owner sees fit. The project proposes a shoe display wall, a center console, a large display wall, and new lighting. Existing materials and fixtures are re-purposed as extensively as possible, seeking to establish a clean, simple aesthetic.
