Design/Build project for a retail cafe railing and bar on Colfax Avenue in Denver. The design features a series of horizontal 'fins,' the spacing of which was modulated to be more dense where needed and less otherwise. On top is a thin folded plate (1/16") serving as a bar. The rest of the structure was fabricated from structural steel tube, then the entire assembly was powder coated light gray. The railing was installed at Hooked On Colfax Cafe - 3213 East Colfax Avenue in Denver in late June, 2010.
